Philosophy for the trip This spring break trip will introduce people to the beauties of Nicaragua with the hopes that they will have a great time, grow to love this place, and hopefully return to Central America throughout their lifetimes. We want Nicaragua to be more recognized for the great tourism and voluntary opportunities it has, as not too many people have traveled to Nicaragua for vacations. We hope that the trip will be a positive introduction to this often unexplored country in Latin America. This trip integrates flexibility to allow the individual to choose among many activities: the amount of adventure, nature-based experiences, Spanish immersion and practice, shopping, and relaxing. This trip is priced as low as possible so that it is more financially accessible to those who would like to attend. This trip makes use of many quality microenterprises that are in Nicaragua, thus supporting the local economy and some hard working people, while also allowing us to keep costs low.
